Terms of Service

By installing or using StrideAI, you agree to these terms. They're meant to be plain — no novella, just the parts that matter.

Health disclaimer. StrideAI is informational. It is not a medical device, not a substitute for a doctor, physical therapist, or certified personal trainer. Consult a physician before starting any exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition, are pregnant, or returning to training after injury. Stop and seek medical advice if you feel pain or unusual symptoms.

1. Who can use StrideAI

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app. If you're under 18, you should have a parent's or guardian's awareness — fitness, recovery, and nutrition look different at different ages.

2. How you use the app

Use it for personal, non-commercial fitness purposes.
Don't try to extract, scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the AI generation endpoint.
Don't impersonate StrideAI or rebrand its content as your own.
If you find a security issue, please email security@fitnessaiapp.com instead of exploiting it.

3. AI-generated content

Workouts and weekly insights are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini at the time of writing). The model can be wrong, sometimes wildly so. Use your judgment. If a suggested exercise looks unsafe, skip it.

Anything the AI returns is not medical, nutritional, or rehab advice. It's a starting point, not a prescription.

4. Amazon Associates Program

StrideAI participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. As an Amazon Associate, StrideAI earns from qualifying purchases. Some workouts include links to gear on Amazon. If you buy something through those links, Amazon shares a small commission with us at no extra cost to you. We don't track what you buy; only that you clicked through.

5. Free service

The app is free. There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and we won't surprise you with one. If we ever change this, we'll grandfather existing users and tell you well in advance.

6. Service availability

The app calls a backend that we host on Render. We aim for high uptime but don't promise specific SLAs. If the backend is down, workout generation and weekly insights are temporarily unavailable; everything you've already generated stays on your device.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law: we provide the app "as is", without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of StrideAI, especially anything injury- or health-related. See the health disclaimer above.

8. Account and data

You don't have an account in StrideAI — we use an anonymous device ID. To delete all your stored data on our backend, email privacy@fitnessaiapp.com with your Anonymous ID (find it in Settings → About).

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest change. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app the next time you open it.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where StrideAI is registered. If you have a dispute, please email us first — we'd rather solve things over a conversation than a courtroom.
